Events Guide 2011/ 2012

Over the course of the year, the NYMR stages a number of events and galas, most of which involve Goathland Station and its Station Group. In particular, much preparation goes into "dressing" the station for the Wartime Weekend.

The Station Group is involved in the planning and organisation process, and in providing additional staff to man stalls, displays, platforms as stewards. In addition, there are a number of "mini events" (particularly visits by various vehicle clubs) specific to Goathland. All of the events are listed in our Events Calendar below.

Would vehicle owners please note that visits by car clubs must be booked in advance via the relevant car club, and for NYMR organised events (Sixties, Vintage Vehicle, Wartime) through the nominated Event Co-ordinator.
